What does MG Care look like in 2045?
The application of new technology to medical care is evolving rapidly from wearable devices to better use of electronic medical records to abilities to analyze the biology of diseases. Dr. Henry Kaminski will describe what he envisions the care of patients with MG will look like 20 years from now.
Henry J. Kaminski, MD is the Meta A. Neumann Professor of Neurology at George Washington University in Washington DC. Dr. Kaminski has performed research in MG for over 25 years with continuous support of federal and non-profit organizations. In 2019, Dr. Kaminski established as principal investigator, the NIH Rare Disease Clinical Research Network site dedicated to myasthenia gravis, MGNet. Recently, he has started work towards objective quantitation of the neuromuscular examination via telemedicine using artificial intelligence to enhance clinical outcome measures and clinical trial performance.
Conquer MG gives annually to the MGNet to support research in hopes of one day finding a cure.
