Meet Our New Medical Advisory Board Member

Conquer MG welcomes its newest Medical Advisory Board Member, Dr. Raghav Govindarajan.

Raghav Govindarajan, MD is board certified in neurology, neuromuscular medicine 

and clinical neuromuscular pathology. He is a practicing neurologist at Hospital Sisters Health System Medical Group, adjunct professor of neurology at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and at A.T. Still School of Medicine. He was the past chair and vice chair of the neuromuscular section of AAN. He is the author of more than 150 peer-reviewed publications, editor of five books, recipient of 20 research grants and has been awarded more than 50 teaching awards including the National Golden Apple Award from the American Medical Student Association and the American Academy of Neurology’s Clerkship Director Teaching Award. He has been inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, Gold Humanism Honor Society, Sigma Xi. He is an elected fellow of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia, American Academy of Neurology, American Neurological Association, American College of Physicians, Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and London. He has been honored with Leonard Tow Humanism Award by Arnold P. Gold Foundation in addition to the Schwartz Compassionate Caregiver Award for the care of his patients.
